Audencia’s new strategic plan goes by the name of ECOS 2025, a reference to the Ancient Greek word meaning ‘house, our world’, and, by extension, society as a whole. Driving ECOS 2025 is a novel reworking of performance measurement allied to four major axes which together aim to play a role in the positive transformation of individuals, organisations and society.
Audencia’s ambition is to invent a new model of business school: more virtuous, seeking to graduate ‘citizens of the world’, sharing humanist values, and with a firm belief in a common destiny.
Christophe Germain, Dean of Audencia, sums up the values that underpin the plan:
“The goal is not to become the best school in the world, but rather to be a school that is better for the world, and to be recognised as such both nationally and internationally.”
ECOS 2025 is the result of a collective approach. All year long, thanks to the support of Nantes’ CCI, not only student and graduates, but also faculty, staff and partners could contribute to building a ‘new frontier’ together. In all, 200 people from the Audencia community took part in various workshops and intrapreneurship projects, while also posting ideas in a suggestion box – set to become a permanent fixture.
