Strategic Plan 2021-2025: Ecos 2025

Audencia’s new strategic plan goes by the name of ECOS 2025, a reference to the Ancient Greek word meaning ‘house, our world’, and, by extension, society as a whole. Driving ECOS 2025 is a novel reworking of performance measurement allied to four major axes which together aim to play a role in the positive transformation of individuals, organisations and society.

A new model within the higher education landscape

Audencia’s ambition is to invent a new model of business school: more virtuous, seeking to graduate ‘citizens of the world’, sharing humanist values, and with a firm belief in a common destiny.

Christophe Germain, Dean of Audencia, sums up the values that underpin the plan:

“The goal is not to become the best school in the world, but rather to be a school that is better for the world, and to be recognised as such both nationally and internationally.”

A plan based on four axes

  • Axis 1: creation of Gaïa, Audencia’s school of ecological and social transition
  • Axis 2: generalised and increased hybridisation
  • Axis 3: a development plan prompting even stronger impact
  • Axis 4: a new organisational template

Three key challenges

  • The creation and deployment of responsible technology and information
  • The definition and adoption of management approaches that favour inclusive organisations and societies
  • The design and application of sustainable business and development models (particularly in line with carbon neutrality aims)

An original scheme : "Daring Together"

ECOS 2025 is the result of a collective approach. All year long, thanks to the support of Nantes’ CCI, not only student and graduates, but also faculty, staff and partners could contribute to building a ‘new frontier’ together. In all, 200 people from the Audencia community took part in various workshops and intrapreneurship projects, while also posting ideas in a suggestion box – set to become a permanent fixture.

The aims:

  • Question what the school takes for granted,
  • Seek new and innovative opportunities,
  • Reinvent oneself and plant the school’s future at the crossroads of humanities and responsibility.
